The Star Community Bar

Located in the Point Center building, founded in 1991 by the keeper brothers, Dave Heany & Marty Nolan. The space was formerly occupied by C&S Bank & one of the old bank vaults is now a shrine to Elvis. Heany & Nolan sold the bar in the early 2000’s. Heany died in late 2018 & Nolan died in October 2021. Star Bar features local & national touring acts 5 nights a week & Rotknee Presents comedy every Monday, the longest running amateur comedy night in the city.
